Love the bar and pool here. Always a fun crowd and a great place to sit around and relax and enjoy the weather. Beautiful setting.

Thu Guest House at Lost River is a gem hidden in a beautiful, rural area of WV. It's a great place to get away for a weekend, enjoy the solitude of nature and the amenities of a resort. Gary and Jesse have created quite a treasure here.
I've already been here twice and I will definitely come back with more friends. Each room or cottage is unique and full of character. We stayed in the Builtmore cottage which is the furthest from the lodge but not the least by far. Gary is so knowledgeable in local history and current events AND wine. Jesse is the most people friendly and happy host, he's very talented in describing the food selections and will leave your mouth watering for whatever specials they have at the time. They make the perfect host couple anybody can ask for. This paired with the excellent service staff they have surrounded themselves with make for a consistent hard hitter in getaway destination accommodations.
This was our first time visiting and, after less than 24hrs into our stay, we'd already booked our next visit! The owners are incredible, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. The cabin we stayed at was large, very comfortable, and clean with great views from the balcony. The lodge has a ton of cozy nooks and seating areas with fireplaces and a pool table, and the pool is spectacular with a connected hot tub. The restaurant serves deliciously inventive meals and the signature cocktails are expertly crafted.
